UK Energy Price Volatility

The volatility we have been predicting in the last few weekly energy reports has shown itself this week. Prices across the board have shown swings over concurrent days eg going up about 1%-3% on Tuesday and dropping about 1%-3% yesterday.
The bottom line is that if you are considering tenders for energy prices, to do this asap as volatility will soon turn into supplier risk premiums in terms of 12 and 24 month supply contracts.
